    Default Magnets in parlor?

Hey do the pachinko parlors have trouble with customers using high power magnets to guide balls into pockets?
I was trying this with a niobium magnet (the type used to aim the laser inside your CD drive) and was able to increase the odds of a ball going through 2 pins by a significant amount. By my test only one out of every 8 balls that hit the two pins above the start gate went in but with the magnet it changed to 50/50. I’m guessing that’s why they have two layers of glass, but with the high power tiny magnets it still has a big effect. Two of these tiny magnets will stick when on is in my palm and the other is on the back of my hand.
    Just curious.

Yes, any type of device that is used to physically manipulate the playing field and/or the ROM is strictly illegal in parlors. The offender is not only kicked out and banned from the parlor but is also subject to arrest. There are minor things that are technically allowed though such as "coining" the handle as to keep it in a particular preferred position though.

Feel free to do it at home though.

In some places in Japan you may just get the s**t kicked out of you too

With my autoplay from Arby on my Bunny girls I don't need any more help.

In the parlors there are two glasses in the window to cut down on the playing with the Magnets and from what I have read more cameras are used.

Yup, the pachinko parlors sink big money into security; there's usually a minimum of two cameras per island in the mid-large sized parlors, not to mention the hidden ones.

Yeah, the autoplay on my Thunderzone is fine! But I still like to shoot the balls.

I hear that due to increasing cost of Steel that they will be moving to plastic balls soon. This should cut down on magnetic usage, but it will also increase the number of colors the balls can come in. It will also allow a parlor to ensure that they are only redeeming "house" balls.

ok - I made all this up but makes sense right ?
