    Default Anyone know this vendor?

I had a bid on an ET machine, but the seller cancelled it. I bet it was because he was not getting what he wants for it. I really dislike when they do that, just put a reserve on it then. Just wondering other than doing this, which may make me decide to not bid on their auctions if there are any other reasons one should stay away? The ebay name is ju707 and here was the auction http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=6216391836. Also why when a auction is cancelled why are the bids not listed in the history? Thanks.

After the sale the seller can go back and cancel all bids if he has an excuse.

I have always felt that if you want a certain amount for an item then post a reserve don't just cancel because you want more than what the bids are. I bid on an auction to try and get the best deal I can, if I am not willing to go as high as a reserve than so be it. If I was a buyer and determined I bid too much and could get an item cheaper elsewhere I could not just say I changed my mind and not pay for an item without the chance of getting negative feedback and being reported to ebay as a non paying bidder.

Contact them and ask why! I went through a hassle with mine, due Tuesday, to get the feedback removed. Don't make my mistake.

I know this seller. Have known him for many years. Previously, he has only dealt with coin op arcade games. His name is Julius Robbins, and has had a good reputation, at least in the arcade industry.

Yes, I have bought Neo Geo MVS games off him in the past. Everything always worked out fine for me. As with selling with a Reserve it does cost more to list that way. If you ask me eBay should not get a penny unless the items sells, they make waaaaay too much money. I would probably say different if I had stock in eBay : ) When a Seller ends an auction early the bids are automatically cancelled. Although I am not endorsing this practice it is the sellers choice. My experience wasn't too bad as far as the sale goes. Good communication and it was shipped fast enough.

However I did not like a few things about the auction now that I have the machine. First, he took A picture of the machine from far away so you can't see any flaws with the body. If I had seen the cigarette burns near the ash tray I would have probably gone with another auction.

Second, the auction claims they inspect everything and make sure its 100% working. Well..... the machine is working but the body screws in the side were so loose some were hanging out if it. Also the wiring in the back was a mess! I had to spend some time running the wires in the right places so they werent hanging out all over the place.

Now maybe I'm being picky but It always "irks" me when people don't go the little extra distance to make something really nice. It shows quality and pride in the sale.

So, I didn't make out bad, but I wouldn't buy from again as it is obvious you don't know what your really going to get!
