Talking One More Time! Until Next Time, Anyway...

I picked up another Vintage machine last night:

What really drew me to it is still a question to me. See if you agree.
Take a look at the center pocket here . The black wheel with Nishijin written in white has a split(?) at the top. I think the wheel splits apart during bonus rounds & the tire opens to let balls fall into the hole just at the bottom behind the wheel. Am I crazy or does anyone else see it this way?

Does it also look like when the ball falls into the tire, that it then "falls back out thru' either of the 2 holes below it to then fall into the pocket below that?? Unless there is a shelf piece missing I dont see how balls otherwise would go "into" the holes below the tire???

They may not be holes at all. Your spinners might direct the balls to the bottom pocket.

I dont understand? Which may not be holes at all? The ones below the center pocket? If those are the ones you mean, how would the spinners push the balls down & then cause them to take a 90 degree turn into a hole that has no lip to catch & guide the ball back into the hole?

    What about the tire question?

Doo -- I think you are exactly right. The tire looks to split open and then you'll have a big target there to catch the balls to guide out of those bottom two holes and finally into the lower payout flipper. Very cool machine, btw!

When I first saw this on ebay I also figured that the tire split open but I didn't even think about the holes.

It sounds like you and slotter are on the right track.

Dude = what a great looking pachinko you got there and I can't wait to hear more about this one especially with the racing theme. Hmmm makes me want to consider more vintage myself!!

    Thanks for posting this one!!!

I have seen one that was very similar to the one you purchased. Yes the tires open and direct balls into a pocket at the base of the tire, behind the cloud. The 2 holes below are exits, not entrances.
Great buy, let us know how this machine works.

Yep! I wasnt sure if that was the case but I thought it might be.

Cant wait to get it & check it out. Always need something to sorta break the traditional gameplay in order to make it more fun, keep it fresh!
