Hi All ,
Recently Purchased my 1st Pachislo Machine! What can i say, im spechless. They are pure engineering at its best ! Anyway , Ive been reading alot of INFO on how to change the skill level. Attempted it on my machine but it has failed to work. I have the master key slot at the top of the power supply, followed by a reset switch, and two on / off buttons. Ive tried switching the key slot and pressing the reset button. The number 2 comes up on the Credit Display and the number 10 comes up on the Game Play Display. I would really appreciate it any one could shed some light. All info is greatly appreciated. I will try and upload some pics as soon as my camera is fixed ! Many thanxs

the number 2 is the skill level when you see this if you push the reset button it should change the number to a higher or lower skill level.

Hello, skill select button is the black round button just above the on/off power switch toggle, select your shill setting ( suggest 3 or 4 ), tap the joystick to lock in your setting and then turn reset key back to normal postition. Mike : )

Hi all, Cheers for the help. Ive tried it, pressed the black button then the level comes up ( 2 ) you press it again and nothing happens. It as if it is locked with the level 2 setting, has anyone had this problem before ? Im not too fussed if im unable to change it. It would just be nice to the ability to change it!

Hello, Make sure you turn the power off and wait a bit, let the machine fully power down. Turn the reset key to the on Position and then turn the machine back on, continue as stated above by me. Mike : )

No Problem, Ive been there. I have a few machines that are extra stubborn with the resets taking. If you go to fast the reset will not take sometimes. Most people forget to tap the joystick or let the machine fully power down before starting the reset procedure. I sometimes watch a red light fade out completely and wait another few seconds before starting. Metal Slug will require a couple, or even a few, reset attempts every time I have to reset it. Mike : )

Sometimes you have to power them down for 5 or 10 minutes (wouldn't hurt to go a bit longer if you're having problems) to drain off all voltage still in the capacitors.

Hi All, Thanks slotter. Il keep that in mind ! With out a doubt il be purchasing some more machines. They have exceeded my expection 100%. Im over the Moon :-)
