    Unhappy Starwars Machine

I have been considering buying the Star Wars machine for some time. Then a week ago last Sunday I purchased one on line. It arrived Monday 3rd October and with extreme excitement plugged it in and away we (DON'T) go. All the lights came on but the problem was with the ball launcher which did not turn to the right instead it turned to the left. All I could hear was a wirling sound but no contact was made with the balls in the feed tray. I suspect it was damaged in transit, however I hope to have a replacement pretty soon.

Can anyone give me an indication of what the problem may have been?

    Thanks

I have checked for jamed feed. The cam inside was just going around and around without dirving the hammer.

    Thank you for your feedback.

Its the shooter knob turning left that seems a bit odd!?
Does it spring back right when you release it?

they only turn to the right hand and spring back to the left when released.
so being only turns to the left ? or do you mean left of the machine (lock side) ?
if so again, check to see if your dongle is fully seated.
open the cell window and than open the shooters tray, drop a ball in the track and close every thing, try shooting again ?
report (post here) back what happens

Thanks for all the feedback. I have tried what you suggested. The dongle is secure and still no ball launch.

To fire a ball you would normaly twist to the right and the spring will force lever back to the left. Not so on this machine it seems like the actions of the spring has been reversed (if at all possible).

I have been onto my supplier who are somewhat amazed by the functions of the machine but have agreed to exchange the machine, which should arrive today.

    Thanks for all the help

Hi all. Well my newStar Wars machine arrived today (thanks to UK Supplier 777 Heaven) service second to none. It is absolutely great.

I wonder if anyone knows how carry out speaker mods as the switch for sound is loud, louder, and louder. I think I may have seen somewhere on this site someone carried out a similar mod on another machine. If I can;t sort the sound out its going send the other half (er in doors) round the bend, must keep her sweet as I plan to buy a few more machines in the not too distant future.

    Regards Alan B
