    Default 1945? pachinko

    Found this on Yahooo japan:

    http://translate.google.com/translat...language_tools
(this link only good for the next 5 days)

Can't you see some old Japanese guy hammering in those nails one at a time?

I wonder what the drum on the back is for?

If you look on the left of the back, that chute and bell at the bottom is for when a coin is dropped in the front (blue label in front pic). I assume that these were very 'attendant' needy.

Very cool! That bell is a puzzler!? Wind turbine? Air raid horn? Ice cream maker? It boggles the grey matter...

I just picked up a (new) old machine on eBay:

I was interested in the different pocket configuration. I havent seen one quite like this. Looks to be in fairly good shape too.

Very slick Doodude! That's the kind of machine I like- more chances to win. A lot of my mechanicals have extra win pockets. It looks like they put two center features on either side and the normal tulips down the middle. Hope you post some closer pics of the face when you get it.

I believe that thing on the back of the machine is the unit that disperses winning balls.

Yeah, those pocket configs are what drew my attention to it.
Im still searching for the older models but with that certain something that sets it off from the others, ya know!?
Ill send you the closeups when I get it in....

In the meantime, anymore guesses as to the barrel on the back of this oldie you found?
Think that key in the back winds up something or is the butterfly nut thats holding it on?

    Maybe a clockwork ball return/dispenser?

Temporarily, go to youtube.com and search for BudgeRahe for videos. Until I get the links set up in the museum
