I can't recall ever having the opportunity to watch something I've ordered being assembled like I have here. It really added a lot of fun to the buying process as well as showcased what Arby actually does to prep the machine prior to mummifying it and placing it in the shipping carton.

Thanks Arby, and thanks to everyone who posted to this thread and helped me get through this birth. I think the stork takes flight on Monday.

I have three of Arby's babies here, and it is true, you spend a LOT of time getting them unpacked, but man, is it ever worth it!

logicprobe, thanks for the warning, you too Tony Junior. Unpacking this machine is something I'm really looking forward to. I said earlier that the machine looked like Arby had mummified it. Sure looked safe and secure prior to Arby sealing the carton.

Looks like Lew's is pretty close to the packing stage too.

It is real easy, Lay them gentle on the back, front up, cut the tape on the flaps, open and start lifting out. first the erayed ball tray and balls inside. than inbetween the foam is your manual in a package marked "manual inside", take out all the side packing, lift out machine (takes two people, if only one, be it a strong one), set machine upright, only cut lightly the skid wrap on the wood side, lift off bag and cardboard.

there it be, the key is taped on top of the wood, please don't loose it, they are harder to get and at a higher price.

open manual and read (right a man read a manual first).
Open the window with the key (turn to your left hand) and check that there are no loose anythings around.

To open machane with the key (turn to your right hand), but you need a 4" riser to rest the machine on or it will go down and boom.

Plug it in, turn it on, put 30 balls in shooters tray, grag the shooter, take deep breath and enjoy.
