Metal Clip Removal

My recent purchases (POPEYE & SUPER BLACKJACK) both have this strange metal clip attached to the belly glass.

It appears to be attached via an adhesive and must of served a function of some sort at on time.... Maybe a token holder or cup holder as the clip looks like something might of silde into it....

Anyway.... I am looking to remove these and I turn to the guru's of Pacheeeeese....

Anyone with insite or ideas?

i had the same thing on my neo planetT it's black right? just pull it off and then use WD 40 to remove the glue residue

Yeah... The clip is silver.... but iy appears to be held on with a black doublesided adhesive product...

Just didn't want to hurt the belly glass in which it is glued to...

sounds like the same thing as mine you should just be able to pull it off.
