    Default Cabinet Questions!

Ok, lot of questions here. I plan to build either a 3 or 4 sided case to house 3 or 4 pachinkos of course. I need to make sure this case will be able to go through a standard doorway. This is so I can add a 'Pachinko Bank" to my rental inventory. So, here's a few questions if you kind folks do not mind.

    1. How wide are pachinko's? (I have not gotten my first one yet)
    2. Mounted, will I require a door key, and if so, where do I get them?
    3. Do they need airflow for cooling or anything?
    4. How high should they be located for folks sitting on stools?
    5. Do I need to add anything for the "Bank" to run with minimum intervention
    6. Anything else I should know of importance?

22 1/2" wide. mounted you will need keys to open.
Where to get keys, Rich has some, I got some, it depends on the lock or machine.
    Airflow is a must!
Depends on the stool height ?
    Bank ?

I guess what I meant by "Bank" was the cabinet enclosure, like a bank of slots or something. I'm thinking regular casino style stools which are not too high. We are having a custom cabinet made for our pachislo's, so we can take it into a rental environment and have that casino feel to it. Going to do the same with pachinko's, so I'm wondering is there special ball returns or lifts or something. Usually events go 4 fours, and I want minimal invasion from the customers on the machines.

Our slot cabinet will actually have a drop box to collect the tokens that overflow from the machines, of course we will be purchasing bulk amounts of tokens to make sure they do not have to open the machine. That will work great for teh slots, but not sure about pachinko's since I have yet to play one or see one up close. My Gachinko 7 is on the way, thats the first machine.

Reaper, is there any way you can post, or PM some pictures of your set-up for Pachislos and Pachinko cabinets, please?
    I really like the idea.

Temporarily, go to youtube.com and search for BudgeRahe for videos. Until I get the links set up in the museum

As soon as the carpenter is finished with it, and I get it all nice and painted I'll post pics of both. The drawings are really rough and do not show a whole lot. We are using MDF "Lightweight" which is heavy duty, yet lighter than typical MDF (composite) and finishes off very nicely.

You going to need some sort of ball return on the pachinkos and around a couple 1,000 balls per machine.

    or go "Cyclic Usage"

How much do they weigh? Didn't dawn on me that maybe a 3 sided bank would be too heavy for my crew to move.

In stead of doing a whole Cabinet, what about just beefing up the frame and putting a base on it and handles on top to handle around ?
Change the nails to Dry wall screws with Grommet washers.

My idea, already drawn up, just gotta get teh pachi's, is a three sided cabinet, complete unit, it will go on a dolly right outta the trailer into the customers location. With one move a "pachinko bank" is delivered. Less set up time. Time is money in rentals. For the slots I wold have to take the base in first, then the machines separately due to weight. All I need to do is drop another one. When projects are complete, I'll post pics.
