Hi, I'm Brian. From Clacton on the coast of Essex (although may be relocating to China for my job). So new to this, I haven't even got a machine yet. :O But I'm hoping to buy my first this week. Was looking at either a Dance Night pachislo or a Yellow Cab pachinko. Choices, choices...

Even with the small black and white screen Dance Night is a fun machine, built by IGT with great lights and music

It does need volume controls!!!!!

Thank you for the welcomes! I'll give the machines a whirl first and see which one I like (Dance Night looked good... but also like Asian women...). Birthday's coming up, too... Never know what people might get. Got hooked on these things after I went to a friend-of-a-friend's place (UKVAC guy) who had a pachislo and pachinko... Can't remmeber which, but I know they were fun to play.

Hey its good to see U.K Pachislo fans.Until about a month ago i'd never even heard of Pachislo, only pachinko. I've just ordered my first machine from 777 heaven. Got a Don Chan 2 like in your photo. Its not that new but i love the design as i'm in to all things japanese (anime, videogames, movies etc)
If you have any tips for a newbie i would be very gratefull. I live in Coventry

If you're really into Japanese, then might I suggest you try to find a "King Of The Battle World," otherwise know as "Nobunaganoyabou." Read a couple of reviews in the museum (You must register, but use your same name and password).

To me, this is a very underated machine and it is because of the Japanese!

Your video really helped me make my mind up as to which machine to buy, as I only have the room for one. I think I made the right choice!

KC is a fantastic machine and many hours have already been spent in front of it!

Formerly keeping UK machines (compared to a Pachislo machine they are 3x as tall, 3x as heavy, and take and payout UK currency), I think I've been converted.

I am in the process of clearing out my hulking great 120>130kg UK machines (thats about 250lbs or so), and now have a Neo Pharaoh Zetz (pachislo) and a Lord of the Rings (pachinko) in my bedroom.

As for UK machines I do still have a Monty Python, Austin Powers and Hurricane pub machine, Cluedo and a Top of the Pops Trivia (quiz) machine, and a Club machine (large jackpot, £250 in this case) Crazy Fruits.

Okay. I've now decided that my first machine is going to be a pachislo and it'll be Dance Night. Going to order it on Monday. In terms of volume control, where can I get one of these L_PAD things within the UK? I looked at a couple of American websites, but they wanted a $50 minimum order and $35 shipping... that's a little bit much for me considering I wanted something they were ony charging $5 for initially...

Yup. Well... I went the the Slostdirect.tv site and decided from there. Not too keen on bidding in auctions after getting sniped so many times in the past. I usually just look at the Buy It Nows..er...now. I shall ask very nicely for the L-PAD, then and probably buy some extra tokens, too. Are they based in Kent or Hartlepool? If it's Kent, then there's a chance I might be able to pick-up. So looking forward to starting my collection off.

Random - I think Steve lives in Kent, but I am pretty sure all his machines are in Hartepool.

Correct - I tried to collect, but all the machines are in Hartlepool. If you tell Steve that you're a member here, he might give you a discount and/or throw in some extra tokens (look at his Ebay listings). Good luck! Mike.
