I will be sure to let you know. I only paid 1200 for my lap top a year ago and they want 125 just for the word program.

Your school might have a discount they pass on to students.
Heck, students can pick up a four ap suite for just a little more than that at WalMart.

check your local library. they have tons of software. our local library had a ms works suite that came with word. it wasn't free though. they charged me $4 to rent it. i usually rent my tax prep software from then too. you just have to pay the efiling fee but you don't have to deal with any rebate stuff though.
