I'm impressed. I had trouble getting two into my Malibu (someone was in the passenger seat). Of course, that was because the door frame is built stupid. I couldn't get them in the doors. Otherwise they would have fit fine.

But my Dad built me a VERY nice trailer just for things like this. It will hold at least 8. hehehe

Zap is a company importing them in the USA. They convert them to make them DOT ready for US road use. There are only a handful - literally - that have been sold in the US.

WAY too expensive for what you get. Around 60hp; 50-60mpg, $15-22K !!! (but I'm sure a lot of that is the import / conversion fee / profit that Zap needs to make)

Wow! I have been playing my machines all week on and off, and after I got home from a weekend away tonight I though I'd have another go.

I was starting to wonder what all the hype was about with Pachislo's as neither machine had paid out yet, Beast Sapp did me proud tonight, and after sucking in 50 token gave me my first bonus!!!! 355 Tokens!!!!

I still can't get Popeye to play well, it just sucks in tokens and gives me the odd replay, I have tried different levels, but nothing seems to work??? Guess I'll keep trying.

On the Smart front, I think you guys in the USA can nip over to Canada to buy one, right? Although there are cheaper cars out there, I paid about £6,500 (UK Pounds) for mine, I don't think there is a better car to do what I want it to, other options in the UK are pretty nasty and very very common, the Smart offers a different solution, in a package that was designed from the ground up. I love it, I can't wait to buy my next one!

Not sure about the handful comment... I was at a golf tournament my father was playing in in Hawaii.. The major sponsor was Mercedes Bens and they had a parking lot of "Official Vehicles" that all the pros and mercedes guests got to drive. The fleet included no fewer than 10-15 smarts. So either I saw all the US DOT legal Smarts in existence or there are a heck of a lot more than people realize

From a fuel economy standpoint, I kind of wish the Mini One D would come stateside. that would be a fun little car to run with diesel/biodiesel.

You can get nearly 150 pachis for 22k! Probably more since I think ANY dealer would give you a deal if you're buying that many.

I am looking at a 2000-2002 BMW i wanted one of those cars since i was like 12

I look at it this way... You could buy a Geo metro (could, not anymore) that would give you 55mpg, and had more horsepower, for 1/2 the price. As evidenced by the land barges that everyone drives these days, no one wanted a small cheap car.

Anyway, I like small cars (BTW, you can fit 4, easily in a Toyota Echo - mine has personally moved over 1200 machines, over 180k miles on it and not a dang thing has broke yet)

I love the small car like the smart car, scion etc. but i also like the bigger cars like the new 300's.

I live in Vancouver, BC and there are getting to be quite a few Smart cars here. They are sold by the Mercedes Benz dealers here. Lots of interesting colours. I got passed on the highway the other day by one doing well over 60 so they move along pretty well too.
