    I posted this awhile back.
    http://www.pachitalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6732

Go to my site for Hi Res Pics
    http://www.gvtc.com/~stargate

The black plastic things are just Security Tamper Device's
and the loose ones are for when tech's need to access whats
behind them. They just cut them then document it and when
finished use one of the loose ones.

    Great Job

Just a short note of caution ....

A simple on/off switch will fry things and make pretty blue smoke.

The best switch to use would be a Monentary Double Pull Double Throw

its pretty simple just take a good look at the hopper and trace the wiring from the motor thats what your intrested in using any way .once youve traced it back to the plug usually going into the power supply or cpu board . next attach a volt meter across the two connections (i use a thin wire attached to my probes then inserted into the plug and reassemble the hopper and plug . )then cash out your machine and look at the digital read out most will be around 24 volt some will be as high as 100-110v . you should also look at the polarity when doing this and make note of the pin and polarity . next you need to find out if the negative wire is negative all the time (you can do this by using your meter between the fuse on your relay panel (usually 24+ ) if you get 24 volt then the negative is there all the time and you only need to worry about switching the hot side . if not your going to need a double pole double throw switch (momentary if possable). i found a suiteable neg on the coin over fill probes nobody needs in there cabnet . you cut the wire for the neg to the hopper attach the hopper side to the center pole then the other side going back into the machine on the normally closed side of the switch . then connect the negative from the coin overflow to the normally open side of the switch . now your ready to connect the positive side ....... cut the positive feed to the hopper motor put the motor side on the center pole and the other end on the normally closed contact .then connect a wire from the normally open side of the switch to the fuse holder on the relay board make sure you connect it to the load side of the fuse so incase it gets shorted it will blow the fuse not your board..... thats it your done just tyrap up the wires and re install the hopper . time to test it . try cashing out your machine if the switch is off the tokens will cash out normal . once the tokens stop and the machine returns to idle hit the switch it will break the normal feed to the motor on the hopper and apply 24 volts straight to the motor and start sending tokens to the tray turn it off and it should stop. (on my don don king i had to reset an error with the door key .but the hanabi didnt give a dam that tokens were going across the sensor at the wrong time from the hopper) enjoy the mod its easier than it sounds dont be afraid to try the mod your motor can take it no problem and since your eliminating any feed back to the cpu boards by segregating the motor from it should be no problem enjoy!!!!!!

my son only uses it when he runs out of tokens and the machine is in the living room so hes supervised while he plays .i used a momentary switch on don don but could only find a dpdt toggle for the hanabi it works well and i didnt see any need for the relay unless your hopper is a 100-110 volt model then i would really look into using the relay method just for safety sake.either way the door key stays put away and nobody needs to be in the machine unless it to refill the hopper from back to back big bonuses.

The relay was to get the DPDT config.
Because the Cash Out button is only
    A monentary SPST.

I tried BABEL in the living room but the boss
said no...But now that she knows she is getting
BETTY BOOP.. guess where that one gets to go?

    Ya can't win
