SlotUSA new higher shipping price?

I noticed 2 things with SlotUSA.

They have been offering "customized" machines on their website, but I hadn't noticed them on ebay from them. This auction for instance looks like and "Automatic" with a new belly glass and top graphics.

But even MORE! Shipping is $99!!! That is the highest I have seen from one of the big vendors! Is it a new trend or just because the machine has a $0.01 and no reserve?

Maybe due to gas prices? We ordered out tonight and now locally their charging to deliver. I believe we will start seeing everything go up in price due to fuel.

Unless he's using a taxi cab for delivery, $99 is crazy. Yes, FedEx and UPS add a fuel surcharge on when fuel prices go up, but it's a few bucks per delivery, not $30. He's making up for the no reserve, figuring even if something sells for $65, he still makes $35 on the shipping.

May just be another sign times are slow OR a damaged machine (belly glass) that gets a chance at a sale. I agree they could have done a little better with ad.

LOL, thats why I'm taking my time on mine. I want it to look as natural as possible. Kinda hard considering the stock glass gets screen though. I also noticed a few other sellers go from 59 to 69 for shipping. Those are the ones we don't notice as much

The big shipper have all increased their sir tax for fuel. We all new it would happen.
I am sure they don't like it any more than you or me.
Until we start building new refineries we are going to be in the hard spot. Most don't realize there have not been a new refinery built in 30 years. This is because of the not in my back yarders and the en-vier-mentlist. So here we sit.

Dude don't be too surprised about this as this has been going on now for a long time.

There are a couple of really good customizers out there that do great work but the bottom line is they don't use their own original(easier to steal others) artwork and thus are subject to trademark and copyright laws. In the end they all will pay.

This is just one of the many reasons why pachitalk will always thrive as we will always let you know that when you buy a customized Pachislo that you are still getting the non matching Japanese music and sound effects with that Matrix Pachislo
