    Default Sakura - noob questions...

Hi, all! Couple of noob questions about my first packinko machine, the Sakura...

In the lower left corner of the LCD display, there are two VERY small icons - one that changes color and alternates between a "bullet point" symbol and a minus sign, and below that another icon that has two letters that spin through AA and HH. What are these, and can they help hit the fever mode?

And when I get a ball in the score pocket, the "press" button lights up. Is there a particular timing that will help hit fever, or does it just cut the animation short?

    Thanks for any assistance...

Chris, I'm not that familiar with this game but I suggest you use the museum sections to see how the manufacturers describe the games's features.

Also type in Sakura in the search mode and see what comes up.

Thanks for the suggestion, Dennis! There's not much specific info on this machine, but I'll keep looking. Are there any general "rules" on this kind of machine? As inn, does the lit-up "press" button do anything other than shorten the animated reel spin?

I just bought a "Yellow Cab" machine from TA - hopefully I'll dodge the problems others have been having...

On some games, the press button is as you have said. On others it may change which "reach" round you play. A reach is one of several video bonus spin scenarios that the game can go into.

a lot of them are called chance buttons too,
they are supposed to increase your chance of winning.

Thanks for the reply, LuckyDog! I'm trying to figure out a pattern - it seems like if one "reel" is moving, if I hit "push" less than 1/2 way to the number I want, it stops at the previous number. If I hit it MORE than 1/2 way, it goes several numbers past. There's gotta be a pattern there somewhere...
