One of mine has small -- on the screen and all they seem to do is flash when the reels (pictures) are spinning, the same machine also has a x and o on the play board that flash once I have at least one flipper opening stocked.

On another machine it has two small pictures on the bottom right corner of the screen that spin once I have a flipper opening stocked.

All I can figure is that these symbols just mean something is stoked or something is happening on screen, possibly just there by law.

I'm sure one of the very knowledgeable people here can confirm or correct me on this.

As I understand it, the X-0 flashing and the four lit circles next to them indicate the flippers will stay open more frequently and/or longer if the game goes into a chance bonus mode. The four circles are lit as a ball passes through a payout gate. The circles stay lit for only a short period of time and must be reactivated by getting another ball through a payout gate.

A ball passing through the start gate will not lite a circle near the X-0 but will stockpile a spin (up to four only) and illuminate one of the four spin bank lites usually located above or below the spin display in the center of the game.
