    Default Credit-Add Only

    I've read several posts on requests for a credit-add mod WITHOUT the Auto Stop feature, (and lower cost options.) I'm considering a new offering of a credit add only chip, and wanted to see how much interest there really was, before I develop and program another chip.

    Pricing would be $5 for chip and socket, $6 with wires and connectors. This would work on all machines that use the AS-02C cable (See credit table www.autoslot.info/credit) and would connect similarly to the DIY kit (www.autoslot.info/DIY).

    I would probably also offer a couple of other DIY kits that solder to the stop board for those machines than use the AS-03 & AS-03-NO cables. These could be used with either the credit-add only or standard auto stop chips. My target pricing for these is $15 (without chip).

    PachiTalk members, please let me know your thoughts.

    Vince... I guess I am not sure what the DIY kits would be that would cost $15 without chip. What do you get for $15....

    Just to let everyone know I purchased one of Vince's mods for my SuperBlackJack and it works great. I disabled the autostop feature and just use the credit-add.

    The $15 DIY Kit would be for those machines with over 5 volts on the coin sensors. On these machines, the chip needs additional circuitry to interface to the higher voltages. The kit would include the printed circuit board, voltage regulator, 2 relays, wires, heat shrink insulation, T-Taps and connectors. You would have to do the soldering yourself.

    Jeff,

    I'll have to add another DIY to handle that one. It would use a different circuit board and components, but can be done!

    Since I never use the auto stop part of it then getting me a cheaper chip with only the credit mod is good.

    Wow. Spiffy.

    Now you should provide pinouts of the autostop board so we can make one of those handy plug in jobbies instead of soldering to our boards. lol

    Thanks for the offering. Once I do some voltage measurements on my machines I'll be placing an order....

    I need help updating the credit-add table on my website: www.autoslot.info/credit

    There are still several brands of machines I need information for, and for some reason, my wife thinks that nine machines are enough for me!

    So here is my proposition: I will send a free DIY-CA-01 kit to the first person to give me the needed coin sensor information for each brand of machine I do not have listed. Specifically, I need to know the number of coin sensors, the voltage on the coin sensor wires, whether these are high or low with no coin present, the color and position of the wire on the connector and a picture of the coin mechanism.

    (Follow this link if you need help on how to determine this information: www.autoslot.info/unlisted.htm

    Please post the information to this thread so others will know what brand of machines have been accounted for. (You can e-mail me the picture. There is an e-mail link on my credit-table page.) Please only send information you know to be accurate!

    Vince... Just tell the wife you need to have one of each.. Its just part of doing business. You could probably even use it as a tax wright off..

    BABEL - Token Sensor

    When I had mine apart and took some pics.
    They are Hi Res and can be found at

    www.gvtc.com/~stargate
    The coin sensor on this machine is a :
    KR1142-AZ Optical Reflex Sensor

    Mfg. By Shinkoh Elecs ( thier web site is 404 )

    With a meter I figured out the wiring :
    Black = -5v DC Ground
    White = +5v DC sensor 1 when covered voltage drops
    Green = +5v DC sensor 2 when covered voltage drops
    Pink = ???????

    Hope some of this may help
