Weird looking dongle

After reading arbys post about dongles i went to look at mine on my popeye & its totally different to the ones he posted. I couldnt find one that looked like a computer plug.

Mine seems to look like this, anyone else gotten one of these???



It seems weird as it looks profesionally made compared to the other i have seen.

In the olden days when C=64 computers were "in," many software makers used dongles so no one other than the original purchaser could run the program.

Good ol' "hackers" would take them apart, duplicate them, then "share" the software with others.

But the software folks got wise to this and began encasing the dongle in solid plastic, thereby thwarting any pirating.

That's what this dongle looks like.
