The 50 Ohm 100 watt resistors work very well on that machine there is a plug on the board were the volume control is at you can splice it there and it is very easy just use wire crimps and the volume is managable with this mod

I used 50 Ohm 10 WATT resistors on mine and it worked great. There is about 10 inches of easily exposed speaker wire where it runs horizontally across the door in the middle just blow the LCD.
