I think the thingie is the power source which is probably going to go the way of the stand.
Yes, Dattia I think Im infected wit sumpin! I use to restore old furniture, sand, stain etc etc years ago & this is just an extension of that I guess!?
Tony, Im sure you could build something just as good or better if not a couple of things for what it would cost to ship that stand. It might be 4 or 5 pieces of wood & a little white paint. But if you really want it PM me & Ill figure out shipping for you. No cost for that horror but shipping. Eeek! Uh, thats a manly sorta eeek...

I think It's just the lens of the video camera that you can see in the second picture. That is if I'm looking at the same thing.

...I don't know guys...it looks like a can to me too. Perhaps we are all looking at different pictures. The picture of the back of the machine...if you follow the white cord from the machine, it looks like it goes right into a can...or right behind it.

This is a good example of what I call:..."pitchurz"... poor lighting, crap in the background, clutter, stuff not quite in focus. Your eye is drawn elsewhere, and away from the subject matter.
That's great if you know what you're looking at. You can get great deals because others are confused or turned off by the 'pitchurz' and they generally don't bid.
That's not great if you're the seller, but you have only yourself to blame.
    Good for you, Doo!

youre right photos as there is another machine exactly like this one that has been photo'd very nicely with a clean background etc that is as of yesterday already at $112 with several days to go.
Yet this one has very clean chrome & back & other than the pic surroundings seems in equal condition.
On the other hand Im sure some are photo'd poorly on purpose dont cha know!?
