    Default Fuel Gauge

I found this site run by AAA. I just filled up today for $2.47 a gallon for regular and that was after passing 5 other stations that were $2.49 a gallon.

This report says it is generated daily, so my avg. was supposed to be $2.39 and was off by nearly a dime.

    Interesting nonetheless!

Typically Oklahoma is a low priced state, so when I see it going to $2.47 I know the nation is suffering!

    Question Re: Fuel Guage

What I am really wondering is what price for gasoline is it going to take to get us out of our seats and force the solar/electric tech in car engines? I bought stock in these oil companies when I saw we can't fight them as they own congress. I am selling the stocks now as they have made me a chunk of dough but I would think that maybe at 5-6.00 /gallon that maybe we as a country might say enough is enough?

It happened over here with a big protest by the truck drivers but it ended up getting swept under the carpet as the goverment takes a vast majority of the £4 in tax and bascially there is nothing any of us can do in the UK to alter this

We need cars powered by little 11mm steel balls. A cyclic car!

I feel the pain! I have a dodge ram, hemi, pulla trailer all week end for my party rental business and spend about 150 bucks a week end on gas alone. It skilling me. Next time I buy, its going to be a diesel.

Has the UK's prices doubled over the last year or is it just the USA?

I guess I am just ignorant to the cycle, but it is one excuse after another as to why gas is so high.

End result is going to be everything will increase.

Imperial gallons are a little more gas than a regual gallon,

but that's way to high a price.

Of course if you drive a Rolls Royce there you don't care.

Engand is on the meteric system, you get 4 liters to a gallon.

I'm pretty sure it's the same all over Europe.
