Default Today's college pro-warmup football watching fare

BBQ chicken. slow and lovingly cooked on the George Forman bigdude grill (this ain't yer sandwich maker, its the big hawg with the dome, kinda like a small smoker) 1 wing, 1 drumstick each (x4 guests)....+

BBQ snausages, sliced off only the happiest of pigs, marinated and grilled alongside the bird, (BUT separated by foil don't wanna start a war) the big snausage enough for a sausage samich each x4....w/ cole slaw as dressing

ranch beans. ..... tater salad ..... nanner pudding .... ice cream ....sour pickles ....fresh sweet onions .... pepperochinos peppers ....

and BEER .... lots and lots of ice cold ones.... everyone has to check their keys at the door, and sign the waiver they ain't leaving till Sunday breakfast (a whole nother recipe)....

O man I haven't had corn dogs in a LONG time, those are so good.....

the State Fair here in Texas has THE BEST deep-fried corny dogs, FLetchers Corn Dogs, now you got me wanting one (fair doesn't open till Sep 30 though... )

any chance that home-made salsa recipe gonna share? I've been trying to get a hot sauce made, I can't seem to get it right

Okay, here's what she told me..

    Tomatoes
    Onions
    Peppers
    Garlic Salt
    Cilantro

Don't ask how much of what, I did that already. I was told a good cook doesn't measure.

I like your new avatar. My favorite quote came from him.

When asked, "how do you like children?", he replied.. and I still use this to this day since I have no children..

    "With Mustard!"

Here is one I mke all the time, its great! Im not sure if you all have A&W hot Dog stands aroudn you, but we have them all over here. Here is a recipe for their chili/coney sauce.

    1 pound ground chuck
1 six ounce can tomato paste
    1 cup water
1 tablespoon Splenda(you can do without this, I never use it)
    1 tablespoon prepared yellow mustard
    1 tablespoon dried, minced onion
    2 teaspoons chili powder
    1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon celery seed
    3/4 teaspoon ground cumin
    1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
    Cooking Instructions:
In a 2 qt. saucepan, brown the ground chuck, breaking into very small pieces. Salt and pepper lightly while cooking. Do not drain the fat. Add the remaining ingredients. Simmer, uncovered, 30-45 minutes until it thickens. Stir occasionally.

    Default Re: chicken wings

    2 lbs of chicken wings

wash them and put them in the oven (grill)
lightly drizzled with oil and a little salt while they are cooking away
in a pot add the following

    2 table spoons margarine
(once the margarine has melted add)
    2 Table spoons Balsamic vinegar
    2 Table spoons soy sauce
    2 Tabls spoons worsteshire sauce
    2 table spoons ketchup
2 Table spoons Tabasco ( this makes it mildly hot so adjust this to your liking)
    3 tablspoons honey.
get it all nice and mixed under low heat until everything is combined

you can add a dash of Chicken Grill spice if you'd like

now back to the chicken wings.. once they are ready both sides... plunk them into the pot and mix well... untill everything is coated..
    put on plate and enjoy......
