1 - TIVO (with remote control)
    3 - Cheerleaders (minimum)
1 - Bottle of eyeglass cleaner

Cut, paste, and edit to taste.
Dump all onto DVD, and burn for 5 minutes.
    Add cheerleaders as desired.

Seriously, this is a great idea. Thanks for starting the thread, zone!

    Default Sloppy Dogs

This one my 14-yr old son developed, I type his recipe (he learned me this one, its good) :

pack o' dogs, your favorite brand
    buns
    1 lb. ground beef
1 can Hungry Man "Sloppy Joe" seasoning

prepare ground beef + sloppy joe mix per instructions.
    grill dogs, heat buns.

Now, instead of a chili dog, you slop on the sloppy joe mix in place of the chili!

    Voila! Sloppy Dog!

Add mustard / relish / onions / cheese to your liking

suggested sides: tater salad, ranch beans, corn on the cob, and some deviled eggs.

    Don't forget the beer!

    Enjoy!

    Thanks! Yes, they are good.

I was just thinking, watching the Jacksonville - Atlanta preseason in the rain, ...

the weather conditions are affecting what I want to eat while watching.

E.g., this one feels like a nice piping hot giant cupful of chicken noodle soup with cheese and crackers. Excetpt that it was 102 degress here today, so that's out LOL

time for a nice cool Caesar Salad instead.

ya i like Vick, except for the game leg and sketchy coaching

I'm loading up on RBs myself, with 12 teams and at least 3 per, that's a lot of drafting on the warhorses..same with WRs, I've been concentrating more on them than QBs

of course you want a premier QB if you can get it, but deep down I feel the league hinges on RBs and WRs

i got a kick out of the fantasy fantasy draft ESPN did prior to the game, gave a lot of good advice they did, but by the second round was pretty much in the air (esp. since they were doing an 8 man league)

12 team league, it gets VERY interesting

esp. when you throw in the skirt factor <WINK NUDGE WINK>dahlia's got some stuff there, kinda like the craps table at the casino, you get a pretty girl on board and who knows WHAT could happen !??!

    >>>>George Foreman Grilled SuperPizza

for this you will need either a regular oven, or a George Foreman electric indoor/outdoor grill, the big kind with the big dome top on it (not the little sandwich kind, that is for sandwiches)

pack of pizza dough mix (I recommend Pillsbury brand, 1$ per pizza here)
10-oz bottle of pizza sauce (I use Mama Mia brand, again 1$ per pizza)
bag o' shredded Italian mix cheeses per two pizzas (fr. the dairy case)
some uncooked Italian sausage (1 pound = 4 pizzas)
pepperonis (Hormel 50-slice pack per two pizzas)
black olives (small can per two pizzas)
mushrooms (chopped, large tubful for each 4 pizzas)
green or red peppers or both if you like 'm, well chopped
onion (chopped fine if you're like onion)
whatever other toppings you might like

prepare the toppings FIRST on low oven heat (break up and brown the Italian sausage, when this is just brown drain the grease from pan, then add in any veggie toppings like black olives, etc. into pan, along with pepperonis, and sautee just slightly, stirring frequently, while you are )

during this time you should also prepare the pizza dough mix per instructions.

IMPORTANT: whether with grill or oven, do the following:

spread the pizza dough onto a cold pizza pan, and WITHOUT ANY TOPPINGS, let this cook slightly in the oven or on grill at 400 for 7-1o minutes, BEFORE adding cheese / sause / toopings....

remove the slightly cooked pizza dough from grill / oven, and THEN add sauce, cheese, toppings, more cheese, more toppings, etc. At this point you will have a barely slightly cooked crust, with slightly cooked sauteed toppings on it

return this to oven (or grill) and continue cooking at 450 for 15-20 minutes.

    VOILA!!

You will have a perfectly cooked crust, with perfectly cooked toppings.

Yes, you could have ordered one of these for 10 bucks, but if you buy bulk supplies of the toppings and mix, for every $20 of ingredients you buy at grocery store you should be able to make at least five supreme pizzas. \

Not bad. Plus , it tastes a lot better.

    Don't forget the beer! Cheers!

all right, since the season is about to start, that means before ya know it, it will be time for Halloween games, Thanksgiving games, and of course the holiday season games

Howzabout sharing any "theme" cookings you might be planning?

Me, I'm a nut when it comes to planning, so I'm already thinking of what to have for Thanksgiving Day I'm thinking barbequed turkey, but a lot of my friends said "blech, regular please"....

I say no way! What are you irregular Thanksgiving Day plans?

Me: will start with Charlie Brown recipe (toast and popcorn, I forget what else they had) + home-made chex snax mix + lots of chocolate ) followed by main course of beer, tacos, enchiladas, seven-bean ranchero gaucomole jalapeno sour cream dip with tortilla chips, and a nice long nap
