So what could you do to resolve the stain? Maybe paint little circles around the nail to cover it?

That might very well hide the damage, dude. It's one of those type of things that you will have to experiment with and just be detailed with to attempt to hide.

Sorry, there's no solution (I've tried). You can't paint it (looks awful). The stains on that one aren't as bad as some, so for the right price many could live with it. Nothing will likely peel on a game like this...I've gotten one that had so much water in the top that it did delaminate...but that game was stored in a (poorly maintained) barn...and that, too, is unusual.

On the plus side, a nice center plastic. But is that bottom center tulip original (the one with APOLLO on it)? Not sure--haven't seen one like that on some similar Nishijins, but I don't know. Lots of machines have had broken tulips replaced with substitutes. How crazy do you want to get about this? It all depends on your personal obsessions about condition. Shipping seems fair.

Personally I wouldn't usually buy a water damaged machine (unless crazy rare theme I had to have). But again, this wouldn't bother some...though it always seems worse in person...aaarrrrggghhh.....

Its a nice machine but the stains are so prevelant that I dont think I could ever look at it without a deep sigh of regret.
Guess Ill just keep searching for the clean machines...
