Want a machine but i'm in the UK

Been reading this great forum for a couple of days and I'm dying to get my hands on a Jet Set Radio or a Beast Sapp machine but all I can find is one guy on EbayUK who is charging near triple the price you pay in the states.

I did email a EbayUS seller but the shipping was $250 + local taxes which means importing out of the question.

So does anyone know of any other places in the UK other the guy on Ebay? I've noticed some UK members on here so could you tell me where you got the machines from?

I have some Jet Set Radios arriving in the UK on the first week of September and they will be priced at £80.00 - £90.00 sorry about the Beast Sapp being so expensive the next batch will be a lot cheaper i promise...

To be honest i paid way over the odds to get those Beast Sapps really wanted one for myself which is why they are so expensive but what a machine .....

It does look to be the daddy machine . A mate was going to lend me the money for the beast sapp machine when I showed him the videos and he hates fruit machines

Its a shame you had to pay over the odds I hope you at least get your money back. It does dump on the UK machines from a great height and looks a hell of a lot cooler.

I want the JSR for the super cool music though

i won my JSR on accident didnt want it, but after i got it home i was impressed its a really underrated machine IMO

Its VAT on the machine + duty charged by UK customs it's roughly 22%.

The machine went in the end for $110 (£65) then I would have to pay on top
Shipping $250 (£140)
VAT & duty $27 (£15)
Carrier customs charge collection fee charge roughly $27 (£15)

Grand total $414 (£235) approx.

Have imported loads of things in the past from all over the world but this was going to be the most costly by far

yep most definatly biggest cost is the shipping though which isn't much diffence from an econamy flight to the us

I can understand that you want to find a machine for cheap, but I liked the machine so much that I would shell out $414.00 for it. It has many MANY entertaining scenes and it doesn't get boring. es I got one from Milt some time back, it is a kick of a machine, you catch yourself dancing to the music. The whole system is really nice, good sound quilty and the large screen alway draws people to it.
I would rate this in my top 15 machines if I was still into pachislot. But in my old age, I have become a ball man.

Sure pal, I'm not to far away, I'm just looking for the right premises at the moment. Personally, Im looking near Crewe or nearer to Manchester at the moment. But definately a little south of Manchester. Ill update up when everything is ready. Definately within driving distance for you, and no doubt you'd be a regular customer and would deserve a discount. You could even move in for the weekend and play all night when its ready if you like!

I think I can just squeeze one in next to my Beast Sapp - but it'll have to be a good one as it'll probably be the only one I can have .....(famous last words).

I've gone from looking jealously at machines that I could never import, to finally owning one and soon I'll be within driving distance of a supplier, all in just a few short months... now if only my house was bigger.
