    Default Pachislo Logic

I thought I would raise this topic as I can't seem to figure out the logic behind it.

Pachislos offer the "replay" feature in standard mode in 2 ways:

    * Replay is hit whilst attempting to nail a winning line.
    * Replay is hit when machine "forces" it (usually displaying a hyped up animation on machines with LCD screen).

My question is this: What is the point in a forced replay? It doesn't seem to serve any purpose, as you don't gain anything from it. The machines seem to make show of things on the LCD too just for the sake of a replay. I suppose it may prove beneficial if the machine shows a oncoming reply after you have hit the first reel button (after missing a winning line shot), but it does it before any reel buttons are pressed. These forced replays are just a pain. You have to do another spin and hit the reels buttons just to get back to where you were in the first place. lol :lmao:

    Am I missing something?

Also whilst I'm here. My machines are power converted, so I have converters inside the machines where the hopper overflow box should sit. Why do 2 of my 3 boxes have massive cut out holes in the bottom? The box without the holes has a grooved shape that can be pushed out to make a hole. What is the purpose of these holes? I don't intend to use them . I'm just curious.

In the parlor when the hopper become full the tokens fall thru those holes in the machine into a large collection system, this way an attendant doesn't need to constantly refill the machine.

    I see!

I thought it may be something like that, as I noticed the hole in the bottom of the machines too!

My tokens just spill all over my converters!

The hole in the back of the machine is used for just the opposite thing the parlor feeds tokens into the machine thru it so they dont have to fill the hopper when it gets low.

    That's pretty cool!

I got a big hole on the back of my Cat Woman machine. It made a nice change not having to rewire a UK plug. I just feed it straight through! The rest of my machines have smaller holes.

Replays are figuired into the odds, you are winning something.

You are winning a replay or free spin, which is worth 3 tokens.
