Feedback on eBay

We've discussed, cussed and fussed about feedback on eBay, mostly about when to leave it.

Well, for some powersellers there this may answer some questions. When I leave feedback I usually contact the seller notifying him/her that I left positive feedback and ask them to please leave for me. Today I got this answer:

"Our system automatically sends positive feedback once you leave feedback for us. We have so many of these that we automated the process. Thanks for your purchase. Casino Discount Supplies."

Yep, I get that alot too. I guess they have a canned msg for positive but Im thinking anything other than positive must go directly to them.

I just got a feedback from 2 Sellers that wouldnt leave a feedback until after I did.
I paid for these items TWO MONTHS AGO!!!
I had to ask them repeatedly to leave a feedback.
Now, I havent lost anything except a little time from asking over & over. But it just seems if youre going to insist on getting your feedback ( IMO out of order ) first, then you should have the integrity to give a return feedback promptly.

A little bidders work is never done...

Does anyone know the status of ebay seller "b40"? I ordered a pachinko cabinet from him almost a month ago, and have heard nothing. sent an email a week ago, and no response. I think this is the same guy I bought a pachinko repair DVD from, and that shipment was timely. Do not want to leave the guy negative feedback, especially if he is off on vacation or something. Any insights?

I don't know what to say, he doesn't have much of a history. 1 feedback in 6 years...and that was 6 years ago! Nothing for sale now??? I wish you luck with this one.

He's a member here and posted just the other night. He's a decent guy with a nice business and quite a few members here have purchased cabinets from him. I know he builds these to spec and I think it takes a number of weeks to do this.

I wouldn't shoot him a negative just yet. Try to shoot him a PM here too.

That is good news for you. Good thing our fearless leader here is well informed. Just goes to show that all is not what it seems on the surface when it comes to ebay.

Thanks much! :-) Yes, I suspected he is a good guy. Really enjoyed his repair video. That is why I did not want to slam him. just wish if he was busy and it would take awhile, he would let me know, and no problem. more than anything, want to know that he recieved my order and payment. Thanks all.

I'm lost now... He's got 1014 feebacks with a 99.9% rating! He's a good guy with a lot of history on ebay.

No, I did not buy from b40. Just had my head, well, you know where on that first post. By the way, I heard from them, and our cabinet is ready to ship next week. Was just starting to worry after 4 weeks, and no contact. Looks like they have been busy, and have finished building a group of these cabinets. Thanks all.
