Have you tried a major reset.
turn off machine, hold in reset button for about 10 seconds while turning the machine back on.

There is a orange plastic button that hits a switch behind the plastic on a circuit board that say something like Ram. Is this it?

It should look like a regular pachislo odds setting button,

I don't have that model, but it should be on the back somewhere.

it will be small and a round button in a square pad, not always easy to see. can be around the power on/off or around the power supply board. the buttom will be about 1/8" dia. black or white are the only to colors i have seen. turn on your machine and start pushing buttons till you find a soft reset than turn off and do a hard reset.

Arby On mine it has a plastic rod to push the button from the outside of the plastic cover. I can feel it push it in so I know it is making contact. I have tried to push it when the machine is on. Nothing happens. I have tried to shut off machine and start it up with the button pushed in. I have done the same but leave it pushed in for 10 20 seconds after start up. Nothing seams to happen and the little light on the top right side stays lit and still no pay out.

This is what I did. My post from earlier.

I messed something up on the gladiator. I found the wire for the payout pocket to start the reels. With a switch it would work great Then I wanted to find the wires for the pay out and the flippers. To make it cyclic I unhooked the wires going to the ball dispenser/counter. There are two but only had to disconnect one of them. Only problem is that the machine remembers how many payouts there was that it could not pay out. I figured they would limit the amount it remembered. They apparently don,t. To check the payout for the seven balls I had to re hook up the ball counter. This made it start putting out the payouts it missed. I whet through a few thousand balls then it stopped when there was a ball jam or backup. I cleared it. after a while it did it again so I fixed it. Shortly after this it would not put out balls anymore. I can put a ball in a pay packet and it will not pay out balls now. The ball just drops to the bottom try. I have tried switching the two motors thinking I burned the other one up but nether will work.
There are two lights on the front. One on the top right hand side that would light if the hopper was empty of balls and will stay on all the time if playing in cyclic with not any balls in the hopper. Now that light stays on even when the hopper if full. Then there is a light in the top left side that now has come on and is also staying on. any ideas as to what I may have did?

Well with the info you gave me, and looking at the back of J-Park.

I don't know what you did, The wire group you unpluged from the ball couter out. follow it back to see it that plug on the other end is not full seated.

You were pushing the reset. Check the wires again, if that not it, tear down your ball counters and see if something is not right there, ie, stuck, out of bearing.

If that not it you fried something on your board.

How many fuses are there? I see only one small one down on the bottom right behind the orange plastic. Small thin wires go into that area. It looks fine, bur I will check again. I don't see how I count have fried something. It was only doing what it was supposed to do, count and dispense balls!

For the mod that Logicprobe suggested for putting in a switch to simulate a ball going into the pay pocket and starting the video or reels like on my Gladiator. This works great! Now some ware it was suggested that if we could make use of the two push switches by the card reader to use for this purpose. I tracked down the wires to these two switches hooked up the wires from the pay pocket. It worked to start the reels, but will not work when a ball goes into the start pocket. The switches are normally open and by pushing the button you momentarily close it. Back to the drawing board. I am going to try to find a normally closed switch that I can mount behind the push part of the button so as to make the two buttons useful for something. And an update for arby. The payouts work now! I had to unhook a lot of wires to take stuff off the back tracing wires. It did not work when I put it all back together but after it was shut off for awhile and turned back on it suddenly would pay out. Now if I could only disable it from remembering how many payouts it missed I would be in good shape to go between cyclic and parlor when I wanted too. Any suggestions anybody On how to do this?

Arby if you are talking about the remembering how many payouts then I have tried a hard reset. It still wants to pay out all the payouts it missed. Maybe I am do ing a major reset wrong? Please go through the steps. Although If I look I bet you already have it in some info here under pachinkos.

If you are setting a cycle machine there is no reason caring how long it keeps the payout info (a bout a week).

So you are saying that after a week the machine forgets(deletes) the info on how many payouts it has stored up? So if I am running this thing in cyclic and in a month I want to sell it but the new owner wants it to be Parlor ready again I just have to leave it sit a week(is this with power on or off) and it will delete the payout info so when the payout motor is plugged back in it will not want to payout thousands of missed payouts?
