    Default One for dattia

I thought this looked pretty good for an older machine and that it would look good in dattia's place. Local pickup only and in PA. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...gory=3948&rd=1
    and a few others.

Interesting find. There's no license stickers on the belly glass so chances are pretty good someone altered this one. Also the reel graphics really don't seem to have anything to do with the theme. Not sure how old this one is, but it doesn't have a spin knob on it.

It looks like there is a rectangular start buton on the left side of the machine right above the stop buttoms.

If you lok at the inside door picture you can see the start button bracket held in with 2 screws.

It is a nice looking machine, just the thing for Dattia

    If it wqrks!!!!!!

Wow, that is really cool. This one could definitely knock me off my 1 Pachi perch. That ad doesn't mention whether it actually plays or not. I think I'll ask the seller. Thanks Minnesotabrad, I'm going to keep my eye on this one.

Yep, that is perfect for your diner, Dattia... keep a close watch on this one. How far from you is the pickup?

If it was not for the local pickup I would be watching this one too. I really like the looks of it.

It seems like it is a very old machine, the box is built from plywood and it has a plywood backing inside the door. Nice find for dattia.

Hopefully for the theme of the pachi and not referencing the "age".

    Hello dattia,

I enlarged the pictures and noticed the light bulb over the reels is missing, and the machine frame looks white in the pictures but I think it is all alumium that seems to be in good condition. Also I know you like T-Birds and that is a red 57 T-bird on the reel glass.

Let us know the age of this one, it may be one of the first Pachislo's made.

    Good Luck; George

Old or not, it isn't a bad looking machine at all, and would fit nicely with your theme, Dattia! Hope you get it!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed. BUT...my new appliances are arriving today and with my luck, they will probably be knocking at the door in the last minute of the auction. I took VGC's advice and registered with e-Snipe.

The seller says the machine has only been played about a dozen times in the last two years. He said they tested it before listing it and it was fully operational. Comes with a "few" tokens, not sure how many.

It may be working, but it does need that light bulb above the reels on the door fixed... I'd ask the seller about that when you pick it up if he doesn't have it working. Perhaps, he'll give you a couple bux off to fix it since he claimed it was fully operational?

That is a good idea. I haven't seen at-slots on for a while now, but I am hoping he'll be available if I should run into any problems.

Be careful of this one, I don't want to rain on the party, but this is not the Sammy 50's cafe. I'm not sure what the insides are, maybe an old (early 90's) Takasago or Yamasa, but for sure...not the Sammy 50's cafe machine....Parts for this one are going to be difficult at best. Make sure she works and pays out to the pay out glass, match the reel symbols to the payouts, watch the rust and if you get a chance, look close at the computer boards to make sure there is no corrosion, water damage or rust on the contacts....

Thanks, I appreciate the information..although I would have appreciated it more yesterday morning. As long as it works, I am OK with it. For me, it's all about how it will fit in my 50's style gameroom. If it had been an original, of course that would be better...but, she's mine now either way. I will check out everything you mentioned, thanks. Dawn
