    Default King Camel problem

My King Camel has the left reel off by a few clicks. Is there a adjustment I can make to fix it, or do I need to talk to Milt about it? All of the old links about adjusting reels are not available when I click on them.

the reels on pachislots are self-adjusting. Maybe your reel strips are off?

I have not been that deep into my KC, but I did have the same problem on another one of my machines. Here's how I fixed it....

The way that the machines 'know' where they are is that there is a small protrusion on the reel that passes through an optical sensor that is stationary inside the reel (hence all the little wires and circuit boards in there). On the particular machine that I had the problem on, the little circuit board with the sensor was held on by two screws. I found that if I loosened the screws on this circuit board holding the optical sensor, it would wiggle back and forth by about 2mm or so. Since my reel was stopping 'late', this meant that the tab was passing through the sensor AFTER it should have. So I wiggled the little sensor circuit board back as far as it would go and re-tightened the two screws. It looked EXACTLY the same as it did before, however, this lined the reel right up when it was all installed again.

Please note again, I have not been inside the reels of my KC, so I am not sure if this type of 'fix' will work for you or not. But it never hurts to take a peek inside and see what's up in there.

Obviously this will only work for very minor deviations in reel position.

well I looked again and my left reel is only off by one click of the motor. I looked inside and it looks like there three positions on the sensor inside. Guess I can try and adjust it a little even they are all in the same position.

Temporarily, go to youtube.com and search for BudgeRahe for videos. Until I get the links set up in the museum
