    Default James Bond?

Is SlotUSA selling customs? This is posted as though it came from the factory this way, but looks like an Automatic with a new belly glass.

That's just wrong. I expected better from Slot USA. I mean, if they want to sell customs that's fine by me, but don't try to pass them off as originals. Especially considering that there is a real James Bond pachislo, this is a bad move on their part.

    Thumbs down Re: James Bond?

Can you imagine the first time the sucker that buys this plays it ? No James Bond music and probably totally unrelated music and sounds to boot. Thats the biggest problem I see with customs : The voices if any don't match, the music has nothing to do with the theme and the sounds well they just make a fool outta the buyer. Incredible that people can get away with the trademark violations so easily on Ebay.

I think custom work has a place but not when you steal someones trademark and call it your own creation and sell it.

Well it only went for $58.50. Not sure that Slotusa will keep that up if that's all they're going to get for their extra trouble.

I was surprised when I started seeing SlotUSA selling customs. I'm not sure why they would want to risk making people mad when they find out what they actually bought. And it doesn't even look like they're getting that much for them.

Here are a few more lame customs.

    MrGneiss :

Here is a direct quote from the auction you posted for slotsusa for the budweiser "slot" :

Custom slot machine made by the prestigious BELLCO.

What kind of cr*p is that? Now they are claiming that it was customized by BELLCO ?

At least the Indiana Jones custom makes some sense on a Yajyu machine. Maybe they're using the "custom glass" to replace the belly glass in machines that were broken in shipping. I just wish they would be honest about it and advertise them as customs.

Yep that could be it Kevin plus they also probably have the clearance with the James Bond people to throw up trademark material anywhere they please. I hope you are right and that it is a isolated situation. But maybe in the long run it would be good to see a major dealer doing this and selling a lot of garbage like this. Then the trademark lawyers can step in and not only take a business down but also ruin the lives of everyone working for them.
