Need Help with Eye Shooting

Hi Everyone,
I'm trying to work on my eyeshooting skills with Beast Sapp & was wondering which method is easiest on this machine. Focusing on a joint(which I'm having trouble with). Wider symbols, or focusing on illumination while the reels are spinning(I think I'm having the most luck with the last one). Anyone with Beast Sapp or just general advice out there?

I find that on most machines the red sevens seem easier for me to eyeshoot.

any color that stands out, or symbol that is wider than the rest.
