Big Bear machines arrive!

The three machines I ordered from Big Bear arrived today!

Beautifully packaged, double boxed and only one very small indentation on one of the outer boxes. The inner box is unscathed.

Because of room (rearranging) and time, nephew Kyle and I called it quits after unpacking the Las Vegas. The Baseball and Fire Drift remain in their boxes in the living room. :smirk:

I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed that the new Pachislo stands will be installed this weekend. To get the "casino" all fixed up and decked out willl be a thrill, no matter when it happens though.

Hey folks,

Forgive this heresy, but I'm with you Dat. In just a few minutes, we will be going to settle on our new ranch house (new to us - it was built in 1970). In spite of the fact that the whole first floor needs to be repainted and we are going to completely replace the kitchen, I am more excited than I have been for a long time. Once we finish the work on the first floor, we can then start in on doing the same thing to the basement which has a kitchen, bath, and family room. My wife will not move in until we have redone the main floor, so I have to get working. Hopefully this will be our last house until we either move to the old folks home or they carry us out by the handles.

Congratulations of your new home...now the fun begins.

The house we bought was built in the 1930's. The property is great, the house is good and solid but in need of a major update. We rented it for 7 years and had been trying to buy it since the first day, but the landlord wouldn't sell. He finally relented this year and sold it to us. Because we had rented it and it needed updating, we got it at a somewhat below market value price for this area. Lots of work...but it will be well worth it in the end. I hope!!!
