    Default TA star wars

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=6193450099

in red ? and a bisty case

    Curts latest hype
The first thing to consider when making your purchase is the difference in Star Wars™ machines with a Cyclic ball system and Star Wars™ machines with the actual Pachinko parlor ball system. Cyclic ball systems store the Pachinko balls internally while the parlor Pachinko has the normal ball supply and reward trays. Our Technical staff has major concerns about Cyclic ball system technology. Should a ball become jammed it would possibly require a total dismantle of the machine to clear the jam.

THIS IS TOTALY A LIE, there is no storage they come right out.

What's it doing in a Bitsy case? It's a Sankyo model that's made in white for the theme.

I just emailed them about the Bisty case just to see what they come up with.
I wish they would stop lying.

As a collectors item, that's worthless. That Bitsy case killed all of it's value.

I have talked to him, and intially asked him if his Star Wars machines were Cyclic. He said to call back in 2 hours while he checked with Tech Services. I called back, and he said that they originally got the Cyclic machines, but got a ball stuck and had to dismantle the whole machine to fix it... and thought this would be a major liability. So, they sent ALL of the machines back. I guess they ended up buying Star Wars cells jammed in ugly red cases.

I wouldn't say it's an ugly case, just not the case a Star Wars should be in. And it's exactly (short of color and name badge) the same case. I guess sAnkyo sells cases and allows other manufacturers to put there names on them. Same thing as some Panasonic vcrs looking exactly like a Sony, Sanyo, Samsung, etc.

It's the same case as far as design or the cell wouldn't fit in it. Sammy makes a lot of pachislo cases for other vendors too. Getting a SW cell stuck into a Bitsy case is not a Star Wars machine as manufactured. Yeah, it'll play the same assuming the light configurations are the same but it's not an original.

I whole heartedly agree. I think the black and white case is one of the things that makes the Star Wars look so good (the evil people always have the best stuff - the storm trooper uniforms, Darth Vaders outfit, the star destroyers).

    :bsflag:

Okay, first he had to check on cyclic? Then they all came that way, one ball got stuck and they shipped everything back?

So he had no idea what he was paying for, and waited two months for, on a slow boat from Japan. After getting them in, he still didn't know about them being cyclic until a phone call from shiftdelete? After checking he found out that they had all been sent back, two more months on a slow boat. Then two more months coming back again only this time parlor ready.

Why is it, I'm having a hard time believing that they would ship all of them back four months ago without his knowledge or inquiry? Hmm, six months nows he's been waiting for these to be able to sell them. Miraculously he's beginning to sell them at the same approximate time as everyone else.

Here is a picture of what cell was released in what frame.
and the RED frames are be sold now even on yahoo

    White frames
    Star Wars
    large Yamato 2
    Neo fever powerful
    hot water travelogue

    RED screw tea framework
    bloom field
    new century

His offer of Star wars would not have been bad, if Curt would have been up front on the frame.
I bought a large Yamato 2 in a red frame, but the seller was up front about it. I thought Red was a good color for the Star Bazers and not white.

Hey, the machine will play just like the white frame, the price is good, if you like Red. He will stand behind what he sells.

I probaly would have bought one, than been pizzed to find out it was not the released version.

Here is a picture of the Cyclic Usage ball track. the white line is the track.
The only way for the balls to jam up is:

    They were not done correctly
There was Dirt in the track
    Track on cell broken

On Parlor Ready machines ball jams:

There was Dirt in the track
    Track on cell broken
    Ball counter not working right
    loose wire to ball counter
    loose wire from sensor

So it is a 6 of one half a doz. of the other.

I wasn't going to comment on this, but after reading Tulsa's reply, I figure I'll fill in the gaps.

When I asked him if the Star Wars machines were cyclic, he paused and acted dumbfounded, as if he didn't understand the question.. and then said the "call back in 2 hours"... So just to clarify, I said, "do you understand my question? Cyclic machine or a Parlor machine? and he paused again and said rudely, "Listen, WE INVENTED the Pachinko machine".

I couldn't believe that. What "WE" is he referring to? Texans? haha. Anyways, on my call 2 hours later, he was much nicer (probably because he knew what to tell me after talking to tech services). But, he never mentioned the case. Now that I've seen it, I don't like it in red "OEM" Bisty case.

I'm sure they got a terrific deal buying Star Wars cells and the leftover cases from the Screw Tea machines.

I'm thinking even a 10 gallon hat probably isn't big enough for some Texans.
And maybe he just needed two hours to finish the "spin cycle". :smirk:
