I want a large chunk of my cash to be reserved for the pachinkos. I'd rather splurge for a Star Wars or Star Blazers then for a Spin Luck, but that is just my personal preference.

You are in luck, you will be able to have both Star Wars and Star Blazers all in one machine, you just switch out the front cell, about 5 mins the first time.
As you said, a large chunk of my cash, but not like buying both complete machines.

Just look at my signature line. They are in the order in which I rate them. The DDK was my second machine, after I did not do my homework before buying a machine. I then found I had to find one that would fit me. The theme is almost as important as the playability of a machine if you will have a limited number of machines. Do your research find the one that screams me! me! me! You will be happy. If not then hist it! There a lot to chose from. I could never go back to only one machine. Five maybe. OK four. Well Maybeee three, but that it! Got to have at least three. Until I find a Harley that is then four.

Yes. The tom cats nice and has its own good points like they all do. Well maybe not that K-1 Punch. Although I have no direct knowledge of it and never will. I'm still sentimental about the DDK. Just doing the earlier post I tried to decide if I would keep the DDK over the spin luck or dragon Dice. My brain was starting to hurt. Hopefully I would never have to make such a decision. I just gave the ddk a play last night and it rang true to me yet after all my other machines.

I am with azlew and arby on this. If you have limited space, stay with pachinko's. It should also be mentioned (as it already has) space is relative. We all started off with room for only one or two. But thanks to Einstein, we have been able to expand space. (yeah yeah I know he was a steady state kind of guy but I am on a roll here.) Just look at how many machines the members here have. And they all started off with room for only one or two.
