Belco Automatic Machine - Modified

I own a Belco Automatic machine (2003.6) but i've just now realized that the machine was modified to be Las Vegas instead of Automatic. It's missing all the stickers that most machine fronts have, and the main body is themed to AUTOMATIC still, but the top and bottom are themed to Welcome to Las Vegas. The only thing left is a little certificate on the back that says the brand and game name.

Does anyone know why this kind of change would happen? I don't get why someone would do this to it. Automatic looks way cooler. Or is this something Belco did to it?image_67217665.jpg

This was VERY common in the mid to late 2000s!! Importers changed thousands of pachislos to be more "American friendly" by changing the belly glass to Las Vegas, Nascar, Harley, Coke, and different beer brands so they would sell easier in game room type stores..
