Remember the power to the machine has to come from a Step Down Transformer ie

220vac step down to 24vac and at least 8 amps for that era of modern pachinko machines .

Do not directly plug the machine into household outlet

Thanks for the reply, luckily the seller have already built-in a step down transformer, so I can just plug in into a standard outlet without any issue!!

a molex of some sort.
Is that from the sensor in the flipper?

Nope, it's the speaker connector, I'm planning to buy a female and male connector and solder on a variable resistor on it to do volume control.

Not sure. exact type. I did have some spare data counter wires. but can't get anywhere near them (at least for a few months)

I believe he would like to make a short flying lead with male at one end and female at the other with the control in the middle so not have to cut into the original machine wiring.

Manage to whip up a prototype and it works, so much more quietrr now, going to make a small version tomorrow.
