Takasago Any 7 A question

Picked up the above listed machine yesterday. Today I cleaned it up and it is now working really well. I still need to get a door key so I can put the front locking bar back in. I also noticed an empty spot inside and was wondering what goes there. It to the right side of the reels.

I found out it’s for a coin silo. It fed into the hopper.
