... today I checked the long spring to find out how to clean it. Inside the spring I detected a piece of folded paper. I unfolded it between two pieces of glass, to save it and take photos. This is what it looks like:

The note seems to come from a newspaper with some kind of business news and is cut precisely. Was it simply to prevent noises from the spring or is a a hidden message? Has anyone found something similar?

... I am totally with the treasure theory. When I finally know where to search and have no success I will try a "time warp" to find the right spot: "Its just a jump to the left - and then a step to the right" ...
