Default ARG, losing by $3 sucks!

Such is the way of ebay I guess, I was eyeing a pachinko machine all week now and was planning to win...sucks when you refresh and lose by $3!

The winner has bought like 50 pachinko machines over the last few months, that made me curious, I wonder what he is doing/planning.

Looking at his last 50 buys he seems like a collector with a big pocketbook,

A lot of Indian and Eskimo items, and pachinkos won.

And this Dave99999 does the Buy it Now as well, so he's not schilling. He's just plain greedy.

Notice that he's into Indian artifacts and spends heavily there as well.

He must use another eBay name to sell as he shows nothing as a seller, as I recall.

A little research would probably reveal his sellers handle.

I was actually aiming for the DRM machine since I wanted an LCD pachinko as my first with both left and right ways for the balls to go around the LCD.

(I really like how the bunny girl one is set up, but I don't think the wife would appreciate the theme!

And now ofcourse TA doesn't list a new DRM for next week

I'll take any recommendations for a first machine that I can get within $300 shipped (ofcourse I want a starwars but that will take at least 6 months for the price to come down to an acceptable level).

I noticed the Dave guy buys 1 of each pachinko, so I don't think he is reselling.

Better luck next time I guess.

OK, I gazed into my crystal ball and have concluded the following from a psychic analysis of his Ebay handle (Dave99999). You be the judge.

I think he is a male 36 to 46 years of age. I think he is a professional involved in management of funds such as CPA, investment broker, or upper management.

I think he is married, has two or three children and drives a luxury car and also owns a truck with 4 wheel drive. He would like to sell the truck because it is a gas guzzler but it does look good and image is important in the upscale neighborhood he calls home.

Artifacts makes some extra money from buy and sell. The pachis have become a minor obsession which has gotten slightly out of control. Thank goodness for the oversize basement game room and the extra space at the lake house.

Dave99999 subconsciously is revealing his competitiveness in his eBay handle. No small numbers here. Most people will choose 4 digits, like a birth year, anniversary or birth date. Dave wants to go higher than that, thus, the extra high number that can't be topped within the range of numbers from one up to his tiptop digits.

He is exerting his ability to control the outcome with his voluminous bids. It is an ego boost. On eBay , in his chosen niche, he is king.

But then, I could be wrong.

Only Dave99999 knows. Then again he could really be a sweet little old lady who buys neat things for her children.

    Good one Dooster!

BTW, I've noticed on a couple of machines that ol' 'buddy' robertk6161 has bid an even $100 and been outbid. He must be slipping.

    My Guess:

This guy runs an Indian Casino and has just expanded it's Pachinko Section-- along with lots of decor and artifacts. This new foreign game that will confuse all the old people who can't figure out that the nails are bent.
