    Default JAWS3 help

Hi, and greetings from an absolute newbie who might be in the totally wrong group🫣.
My usual hobby is Pinball, EM & SS, and I see you have a forum for same, so that’s being investigated. BUT, my question relates to the Pachinko machine above. I’m trying to help out a member of my usual Pinball forum who’s seeking a schematic/wiring diagram for the above, specifically the Jaws Head unit. I’ve sought out this forum to see if any help is forthcoming which would be greatly appreciated so TIA.

    I guess its this one?

    https://www.heiwanet.co.jp/products/pachinko/p-jaws3/

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yPBs2A7p1A4

From what I can see. The head isn't animatronic. Can't seem to find a promo video for it.

What seems to be the problem?

Thanks for these and great vids which I couldn’t find! In essence the guy has bought that head piece off eBay after I flagged it in my pinball forum as I suggested it would be a cool piece as a topper for the new Jaws pinball. I dint know him personally but he’s a big contributor, a top restorer on SS machines and has a fine collection. The Head has arrived and he was looking for info on the wiring. His electronic skills appear pretty sound and he’s battling through the wiring etc in order to try and make the features work, lighting, sounds etc. but I thought I’d like to help him out a bit as I feel a little ‘invested’ as, if I’d bought the head, I’d be buying the Jaws machine asap and it would be cool to see the thing working independent of a Pachinko and hopefully linked to a Pin or just on the wall? Hence the request for wiring info.

Ah. So the teeth and the eyes illuinate. From what I've seen on most pachis. They don't use nework protcals between parts of the machine. So on the multiply you will probably have a common ground or voltage. Then each other pin would be an individual led. As to what voltage and if there is a current limiting resistor, Not sure. Best to open the head and examine the boards. More a case of trail/error and document as you go

That’s exactly it. Looking at the back of the whole machine he’s got his work cut out! Thanks

Agree, let’s see if he can get that far. Still looking for wiring diagram. Does anything come with a new machine? In the pinball world you’ll get a fairly comprehensive manual. Maybe I should be putting up a want ad.?

The Parlors would get something like this in the old days..

    https://www.pachitalk.com/forums/sho...e-Pachi-Manual

Might just be a download these days.. This is the only manual I've seen come up on ebay in 19 years!!

But just like pachinko frame manuals, this just seems to show where parts are and where to plug stuff in, size of balls and how much humidity it can be used in!! And not schematic level stuff, since pachis weren't made to be fixed..3 years and then the trash is the pachis sad life!!

Update; there are two electric motors. One moves the head, the other the Jaws!
