Keyswitches for odds
Anyone looking for replacement internal key switches that don't cost a fortune? Menards (at least the ones in WI and IN) currently have a solution on clearance. If you look in the phone section you will find a wall plate (from AT&T I think, but don't quote me) that has a phone jack and a keyswitch. It's so you can keep the kids from using the phone / dial-up. A little desoldering and the keyswitch is out and ready to mount in your pachislo.
Another handy feature, they ALL use the exact same key so all of your machines have the same reset key. Kinda handy.
I've done three of my five machines. The King Camel it won't fit because of how the KC keyhole is recessed then there is that door on the whole front of the power supply. But the other three I've done I just enlarge the hole a tad and viola.
And the price? Only $4.99 on clearance. Can you tell I'm a cheapskate? All my posts are about finding stuff cheap.
