    Default Heiwa switch question

On the left side from the front about half way up is a micro switch that when I push it with my finger a female voice says a phrase in Japanese. It appears as if there is nothing there that might activate it. Anyone have any idea what it’s for and how it is activated. It would be cool if it did that during play or during a jackpot.

    Heres a video

    Thanks in advance

It might be for an error message that too many balls have built up in the front tray; and you need to release the balls so the machine can finish payouts.

What happens during a fever if you don’t release your excess winning balls?

Pictures of the machine you are referring to might help if others have the same frame…

What’s the big 15 round fever? I had all the lights and sounds going off for about five minutes this morning but I ran out of balls.

Well for most any hanemono of this era; when you trigger the fever (score a ball in the V-pocket of the center feature) there’s a possibly of 3 outcomes:

3 round small fever. 10 balls allowed into the center feature in the allotted time; hope you have good aim! Skill is needed to get 10 balls into the center feature within the allotted time; probably 30 seconds or so; then the next round starts. If you don’t get all 10 balls in; you are leaving money on the table.. also no chance of going into “overtime” and possibly turning a small 3 or 7 round Fever extended to a BIG Fever by getting a perfect score every round.

7 round medium fever (same deal as before just more rounds; more potential payout)

16 round BIG fever (sorry this one has 16 not 15 rounds, getting my machines mixed up) maximum payout potential; 16 rounds x 10 potential scoring balls per rounds x payout specs (all 10 ect)= 1600 ball potential winnings for 1 fever

If it was an all 10 payout machine; maximum payout of 1600 balls; quite enough balls to cause the switch to be triggered for the Japanese lady to yell at you to release the balls already…. If you don’t do it proactively

The payout specs of the machine should be posted on the upper right side somewhere.

Buy more balls; 1000 minimum. Ball lifters or cabinets with extra hopper/extra ball capacity are a game changer.
