Unhappy CR Saki 77ver Pachinko machine damaged Diode

So I screwed up BIG TIME and plugged in my first Pachinko machine into a socket without a transformer . This was before I started doing heavy research on the machine. What I noticed afterwards, was the damage it did to a fuses and a diode that I can't seem to wrap my head around. I was able to replace the fuse but I can't seem to find any information on this diode. The diode was completely burnt and split in half. So i wasn't able to see the codes on it. I don't know if its a bidirectional, suppression, Zener, Diode, etc. Or what DSP2 means. I bought a 120v to 24v ac transformer. If I can find out what type of Diode it is, I might be able to see if there was any other damages done to the machine.

If anyone can help me gather any information on what Diode this happens to be as well as the Voltages on it. That would be GREATLY appreciated.

    and biscuits

Ahh , you plugged the 24 volt AC machine into the 120 volt AC socket and then

I've done it once in 40+ years but it only takes one time to learn.

Here's a YouTube video of "How to Troubleshoot to the component level without schematics" (wiring diagram)

And someone might have the same machine frame as yours to check there power supply .

It's normally a zener type diode at 40v. If you remove blown component it may work. But then you loose all your protection. If its done again. Its bye bye machine although.

Awesome. Thank you everyone. Thank you, takethecastle57; I will take a look at the video and test the rest of the board to make sure there isn't any additional damages. As well as get a better understanding of the voltages that run through this power board. Thank you Drunkenclam and Compirate. I could not find anything on that diode. I highly appreciate it. I will search out to find a 40 volt Transient suppression zener diode. You all are great

By any chance does anyone have any recommendations on this 40 Volt Suppression/Bidirectional Diode?
I haven't had any luck on searching. I've gotten 36v and even 50v. All the 40v that i might have come across are usually the square looking diodes.
Sorry for all the questions. I'm just treading very carefully.

    thank you

After doing research on each one:

    1.5KE39A is "39v"

    P6KE is "16.8v"

    1.5KE39 is "35v"

i believe it comes with a set of all three.

So after experimenting with the diodes, I thought of maybe chaining two 24V suppression diodes. Surprisingly, it actually turned on and ran without damaging any of the fuses. I kept it running for a few minutes, while keeping a close eye on it and so far things have been turning out pretty good.

Except now I'm coming across a new issue where there's a beeping noise and the machine seems to be repeating something to me in Japanese. The knob isn't launching any balls, and none of the buttons seem to be doing anything. But the game is fully running in the background. The only hint that I received on the issue is on the top right side of the screen.

I took a picture of it and used google translate. It translates to "RADIO WAVE DETECTION 1".

I tried turning it off, and turning it back on while holding down the reset button and still nothing happened. I even pressed the RWM button a couple of times...and nothing changed.

Do you have a dongle installed in the 25pin D connector in the back?

I found this particular one on etsy. Does it have to be a very specific type of dongle?

Sorry for the wait. I purchased a dongle (waiting for it to be delivered) and plugged it in. After starting it
up and excited to finally play, I was hit with more problems.
