New to Pachinko purchased Girls und Panzer

Stepped properly into pachinko with my first machine. Got the basics down and understand the reach mechanic but wondering if the mini games and the like really do anything in regards to the game play other than add entertainment value. Appears to be dialogue exchanges between characters and flavor text only. Same with episodes, I’m guessing you technically stop shooting during these interludes so that the spins will continue one the episode completes.

Any help or just general wisdom would be appreciated.

Most modern pachinkos play like fancy slot machines and will win when they want to, all the fancy stuff and teasing is just to keep you playing!!

The basic rule for moderns is.once you have 4 banked start pocket wins. Especially through reach videos. Press the stop button on the shooter. Or release it. As for every start pocket you get. Your only going to win 3 balls but not get a chance on the slot reels. A bit generic. Some machines bank 5 reel spins. Others during fever or high probability time can bank 8. Or payout 4 balls rather than 3. But you get the general idea.

I don’t have that exact model; but mini games within modern pachinkos are common. Presumably; “winning” one of the mini games will increase the chances of getting a reach immediately after the mini game. If you lose; you almost certainly won’t be getting a fever in the next spin…

By how much odds are increased; no idea. Might help to lookup a gameplay guide for your machine if you want to learn all the intimate details about statistics, game flow, ect for your specific model on one of the Japanese pachinko sites.

Reaches and mini games usually indicate a better chance of winning, the more active they are the better.

Nice job. That's a large bin for your winnings as well . If you haven't already, you may want to look at getting a DaveRob dongle as well. I think ModernPachinko still has them in stock. It's nice to be able to use the ball loan button to get more balls to play with instead of scooping them out of your hopper as needed.

I hadn't thought of using stickers to cover the front of the hopper. I use a data counter myself as decoration, but stickers work too. In case you're wondering about getting a data counter: For pachinko they're rather underwhelming, so don't get your hopes up on them keeping track of everything. They only keep track of big wins and win chances that you didn't win on, basically. Still neat to have, but there are so many more statistics I wish they would track.

Have the CR card in place and the ball lifter installed to recycle everything. Working great last night when my son was playing and this morning the shooter isn’t able to make it around the full circuit now. I’ll troubleshoot with the seller on Monday unless anyone has any quick fix insights that would be appreciated. I had the CR reader fuse blow earlier in the week and had to fix that yesterday which was an adventure to say the least.

Sometimes that means a ball is stuck in the shooter that couldn’t fall back out. But I assume you already opened the glass and looked at the path. Also, I have had a flap in the path bend incorrectly when I closed the front door with a ball stuck in a wrong spot before. I have not seen an actual shooter failure myself yet. But there’s always a first.
