Payout Settings in Sea Story machine

Hi enthusiasts!
I've just acquisitioned a Sea Story with Taiko no Tatsujin and having lots of fun!

During tinkering, I found an interesting button in the back of the machine. Google Translating it shows "Payout Settings" which is very interesting.
Clicking / flicking on it doesn't do anything though.

I've attached picture to clearly show it.

1. Does anyone know what does it do?
2. Does anyone know how to configure things such as date in the machine? Any documented settings usually for pachinko machines?

The original Pスーパー海物語 IN JAPAN2 looks like it had high and low odds settings, but this machine looks to be the 99% version, PAスーパー海物語 IN JAPAN2 with 太鼓の達人 and it doesn't look like it has different odds settings..

So maybe just a leftover from the original version??

Ahh understood. Yeah. The seller explicitly says that the rates is unchangeable
