Default First purchase - Cut wiring

    Hello,

I picked up a 1976 Masamura yesterday. After some messing around I managed to get the mechanical parts working though I need to give it a through cleaning.
I noticed some of the wiring was cut and I am not 100% where one of the cables goes. If I posted a photo, would anyone be able to guide me on where it ends? I am fairly comfortable with soldering, its just a matter of knowing the end point.

    Thank you!

    Hello, sorry for the delay!

I am pretty sure the connections are from left to right, ground, negative, postiive.
If you look in the other photos you'll see a red and brown cable and they are cut. The brown cable goes in behind so I'd likely just splice a cable and not bother taking everything off (not sure I can successfully put it back together) and the red cable I have no idea where it goes.

Any assistance would be lovely. Apologies for the dirt, I have just been slowly starting to clean it.

I haven’t yet. I came to the conclusion that before I can look at the wires, I need to take it apart and give it a clean. It’s disgusting! But I think the take apart will get me to where I need to connect the wires. It’s going slowly because I am terrified of breaking it but it’s going ok so far!

Just wanted to share that I cleaned the machine as best as I could. I'll test it out tonight (the balls I ordered are coming in) and then i'll see about fixing the wiring.

I haven't looked at the wiring but I did try to get playing. One of the issues that I am having is that the balls do not load in even when the ramp switch is pushed down. Any ideas?

Or do you mean loading for payout?

The issue I am seeing is that when the balls are pressing down on the low ball switch in the back, the arm doesn't move up so it can allow more balls in. I apologize, I haven't learned the lingo. I can push some in but it would be nice if it just worked the way which I expect.
(Also I thought this was clean but apparently I have along way to go!)

You will probably need to adjust the stop connectionRW3.jpg
Lower the connection from the plastic to the wire so it lifts the ball stop when the tray is full of balls

Hi Tink. Are you talking about the wire on the fire left side?
