    Default First vintage Pachinko purchase

Would a 1972 King Nishijin Model B be a decent choice for my first vintage pachinko? The seller seems to think it was converted to a manual operation but I thought they were manual machines from the get go. I've attached an image of the machine.
    Thanks.

If you like it, then it is the perfect machine.

A picture of the back would let us know if anything is missing. A picture of the back is just as important as the front, when purchasing a machine. Yes, it was always a manual shooting machine.

Being a Nishijin model B, any parts would be easy to locate.

How about that second machine? There is no picture of the back but I can ask for one.

Looks like all the parts are present.

The plumbing parts are something the owner put on to direct losing and winning balls. Should be able to remove those.

As far as the other machine, if everything is there, you should be alright. It comes down to whatever appeals to you.

Personally, I prefer the Nishijin Model A machines. Mainly because of the Ball Management. The lost balls are recycled into the Jackpot hopper and winning balls come out to the bottom tray, on the front of the machine.

Thanks for the information. So looking at the two new attached pics, do I have my A & B model designation correct on the machines?

Well, I believe they are both Model B machines.

Thanks again. I'll try and get a picture of the back of the second one.

It is a Model B and everything appears to be present on the back.

Model A and B are Nishijin specific models. That one is neither a Nishijin, nor a model A.

Not sure who the manufacturer is by those pictures?

It’s a Ginza, I could just barely make out the badge on it after looking closer.
