    Default Tulip screws

I would like to remove some tulips from the playfield however there are a few screws that are stripped. Can anyone recommend how to remove the screws without destroying playfield or the tulip. Also any suggestions on where to buy replacement screws? TIA

I've had the same thing happen, I got lucky and was able to use a pair of small, needle nose vise grips to grab the head of the screw and turn it out. For replacement screws I use stainless steel #2 3/8" sheet metal screws. Warehouse stores around here don't seem to carry them that small, so I ordered them online.

I run into this all the time, removing various screws.

If you can't get a hold on it with something, like vase grips, then your only other option is to get something under the tulip, close to the screw and pry it up and out.

If it is a metal tulip you will probably bend it, but after you get it removed, it is easy to bend back. Prying the screw out, you may also enlarge the hole and the new screw won't tighten down. So, stick a toothpick in the hole and break it off flush with the playfield. Then the new screw will hold tight.

    I also use a #2 screw for replacements. https://www.amazon.com/Stainless-Fin...%2C243&sr=1-21
