Default Looking for my first Pachinko - Nishijin

    Hi,
I have the opportunity to buy a Nishijin Pachinko for $150 CND but apparantly it needs a power supply. My knowledge of Pachinko machines is a touch below zero. Could anyone offer an opinion on the quality and worth of the Nishijin in the attached image and, if possible an approx. cost of a power supply?
    Thanks

It’s overpriced in my opinion. 9v batteries are not too expensive. Or just buy a transformer off eBay for $15 or so

Anywhere from 9v to 24v (24v IF you change the bulbs.) Most of the plug in transformers are 12v

Like lotsoballs has said, a 9v battery is a good option, I actually prefer them over a power supply because I'm not limited to having my pachinkos near a wall outlet. I got this on Amazon, inexpensive and convenient.

Agreed; 9v is easy, cheap, and don’t have to put the machine somewhere near an outlet. I only use transfomers for “special electric” types with solenoids that require 24v to function.

Is one particular brand better than another or is it much like the Pachislo market where it may be more to do with a particular model and not the brand? I've seen Nisijin, Super D-X Nishijin Shiroi Kamome, vintage pachinko Daiichi but I'm a little lost on which would be a decent first machine.
    Thanks

Can anyone identify this unit model? (Attached image). I believe the unit is made by Newgin. I'd like to get some information on it if possible. Thanks.

Thanks, I like it, but I live in Canada. I usually find that the choice is flat here compared to the US, so I probably will have to travel to get something nice.

I have that three reel (plus the top one) I call it "Lion Beast " it has some really good sounds and the best part you use pachinko balls instead of Tokens
